Hi my name is Yanerys. I’m a 6th grade student at the Amigos School in Cambridge and for our science project I’ve been investigating and researching the Charles River. It is called an ecosystem because abiotic things are there and biotic things live in it. The Charles River is located in the middle of Cambridge and Boston. You might be thinking: How is that possible? Well the Charles River is the border of Cambridge and the river is what divides Cambridge and Boston.
The difference between biotic and abiotic is that the biotic organisms and animals can breath and move. They breath in what we breath out wich is carbon dioxide. Abiotic things can’t move or breath, there not alive!
PRODUCERS:
The producers in the Charles River is Plants and Algae. They get they’re energy by the sun.
CONSUMERS:
The consumers in the Charles River are Herbivores and carnivores. The Herbivores are animals that only eat plants and Cranivores are animals that only eat meat.
DECOMPOSERS:
The decomposers in the Charles River are Moss, snails,mold and Lichen. They decompose dead things to make it rot into the soil.
ABIOTIC:
The abiotic things in the charels river rocks,soil,oxygen, and carbon dioxide.
BIOTIC:
The biotic things in the charles river are producers, decomposers and producers.

Es possible porque El charles River es el borde de Cambridge y el rio es lo que lo divide.
